About Anton Iamele
Anton L. Iamele was born and raised in Howard County, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1994 and then earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998. Anton Iamele began his career as a law clerk for Chief Judge Joseph F. Murphy, Jr. of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, where he participated in appellate review of civil and criminal cases tried throughout Maryland. After his clerkship, he joined Anderson & Quinn, L.L.C. in Montgomery County as an associate, handling civil litigation matters with a focus on insurance defense, products liability, business torts, workers compensation, and insurance coverage disputes.
In 2004, he joined his father Domenic Iamele to form Iamele & Iamele, concentrating on representing injury victims, surviving family members, and criminal defendants throughout Maryland. Anton Iamele is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, the Maryland Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Crime Victim Bar Association, and the Justinian Society. He has been recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Maryland.

A Baltimore City jury returned a $105 million wrongful-death verdict against off-duty Officer Rodney Price, who shot Tristin Little Sr. more than a dozen times with his service weapon in March 2001; the trial court later reduced the award to approximately $26.99 million.
A Baltimore City jury found the Maryland Transit Administration negligent after a 17-year-old was pushed onto and under a Light Rail train by a crowd surge at the Cultural Center stop following Artscape in July 2011. His left leg was reconstructed after 11 surgeries. The jury awarded him about $1.62 million and his mother about $380,000 in past medical expenses, a total of $2,000,001. Maryland's cap on noneconomic damages trims the award.
