About Domenic Iamele

Domenic R. Iamele was born in April 1944 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from New York University in 1965 and earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1969. Domenic Iamele began his legal career at the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office, where from 1970 to 1975 he served as an Assistant State's Attorney prosecuting criminal matters ranging from misdemeanors to capital offenses. He later became an associate at Edelman, Levy & Rubenstein, focusing on labor law and union representation before federal and state courts and the labor board.

In 1980, he formed the firm of Levy & Iamele, where over more than twenty years he tried thousands of criminal, personal injury, automobile accident, malpractice, and workers compensation cases throughout Maryland. In 2004, Domenic partnered with his son Anton to form Iamele & Iamele. Their collaboration produced a jury verdict in excess of $100 million in the first case they tried together. Domenic Iamele holds the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell for more than 35 years and has been selected as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the American Trial Lawyers Association.
