About Ryan Sewell

Ryan grew up in a working-class family with deep roots in Omaha going back to the 1890s. His grandfather, a grain millery union organizer, lost an eye when a defective boiler exploded at the mill, and the lawyer who advocated on his behalf made a lasting impression on Ryan. During his undergraduate studies Ryan interned in the United States Senate and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

He received his law degree from Creighton University School of Law, where he was an assistant editor of the Creighton Law Review, a senior member of the Moot Court Board, and graduated cum laude. Ryan devotes his practice to people and families who suffer injury through no fault of their own, litigating vehicle negligence, defective products, dangerous premises, and wrongful death cases in Nebraska and Iowa. He has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars, named to the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy and Leadership Omaha, and elected to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Nebraska Court of Appeals 4th District.
