About Anthony Granato

Anthony Granato is a partner and civil litigation trial lawyer at Jarve Granato Starr, LLC, Board Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. He earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1986, where he served as Research Editor of the Law Review, and later earned a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. His practice spans plaintiff and defense personal injury work, workers' safety litigation, medical patient safety suits, product liability, civil rights, and commercial and insurance litigation.

He has tried medical malpractice and construction accident cases to jury verdict in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and has briefed and argued matters before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and lower appellate courts in both states. He has extensive experience in New Jersey construction site accident litigation involving worker safety, and authored "Architect Liability For Injuries to Workers: Is There A Duty To Design A Building That Is Safe To Construct?" in the Ohio Northern University Law Review. His case results include a $13 million recovery for an injured client, a $5.045 million recovery in 2024 for a minor and the estates of his parents killed in a tractor-trailer accident, a $4.5 million jury verdict in a Philadelphia medical malpractice case, a $2.8 million arbitration award involving a misdiagnosed meningioma, and settlements for workers injured by repetitive trauma and inadequate construction safety equipment.
