About Mati Jarve
Mati Jarve is the founder and senior counsel of Jarve Granato Starr, LLC, and a double board certified trial attorney, certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate. His practice focuses on personal injury litigation involving professional malpractice, products liability, motor vehicle claims, and premises liability. He has been continually designated a Super Lawyer in personal injury since 2005, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum has recognized him for numerous multi-million dollar recoveries. He devotes roughly 95 percent of his practice to litigation.
He has been appointed by the American Arbitration Association to its panel of arbitrators, serves as a court-appointed arbitrator for several southern New Jersey counties, and was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District IV Ethics Committee from 2000 to 2004. He is fluent in English and Estonian. His case results include a $30.5 million jury verdict in Gloucester County for a man rendered a ventilator-dependent quadriplegic in a car crash
- a $7.685 million jury verdict in Camden County for a woman catastrophically injured when an SUV driver ran a stop sign and broadsided her vehicle
- a $6.1 million jury verdict for a pedestrian's traumatic leg amputation after being struck by an SUV
- a $2.9 million verdict involving a defective seatbelt retractor that failed to restrain a 71-year-old woman
- and a $2.7 million recovery for a truck driver injured when an overhead door fell and struck him while he was delivering to a grocery store
