About Mike Karns

Mike Karns is a Trial Attorney and Co-Founder of Karns & Karns Personal Injury and Accident Attorneys, where he practices alongside his brother Bill. He represents plaintiffs in major personal injury cases involving car accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall accidents, unsafe products, construction site accidents, pedestrian accidents, and business matters.

Karns earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Stanford University. He is admitted to the California State Bar (Bar number 232256). A Los Angeles native, he previously spent more than a decade advising rapid-growth companies in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles in human resources law, licensing law, copyright and trademark law, workers' compensation, real estate, and international business and tax law. He also served as a Deputy City Attorney in San Francisco on the Code Enforcement team, coordinating Building, Health, Planning, Public Works, Fire, and Police Departments on public nuisance issues.

Karns is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
