About Ian Barlow

Ian Barlow focuses on complex litigation in state and federal courts, handling consumer class actions, wage-and-hour claims, product liability, mass torts, fraud, and whistleblower cases. He has achieved significant results against companies including DirecTV, Wal-Mart, BMW, PG&E, Toyota, and Electrolux, and has handled cases in multi-district litigation. Ian is a UCLA School of Law graduate with concentrations in Public Interest Law and Policy and Critical Race Studies, and also holds degrees in Rhetoric and Political Science from UC Berkeley and a Master's in Public Policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Before law school, he served as a staff member for California State Assemblywoman Dion Aroner and was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs.

He clerked for the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi in the Central District of California and worked at civil rights law firms in Southern California. Ian is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California, holds an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer since 2020, and serves as a board member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Sacramento County Bar Association. He is active in the Sacramento Filipino American Lawyers Association and the National Filipino American Lawyers Association.
