About William Callaham

William C. Callaham was born in Guam, Mariana Islands, and admitted to the California bar in 1974. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University in 1970 and a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in 1974. He has devoted 100 percent of his practice to litigation, focusing on catastrophic loss, personal injury, wrongful death, legal and medical malpractice, product liability, and insurance bad faith. Mr. Callaham is a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates and served as its National President in 2008.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and served as its National President from 2014 to 2016. He holds certifications as a Civil Trial Specialist from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (since 1993) and as a Medical Malpractice Specialist from ABPLA (2012). He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2008 and in Northern California Super Lawyers since 2005, and holds an AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell since 1982.
