Frank Penney

Frank D. Penney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law. He began his legal career with a statewide firm, working as staff litigation counsel for seven years before founding Frank Penney Injury Lawyers to represent injury victims and their families. With over 25 years of experience, he has handled more than 6,000 personal injury cases, specializing in wrongful death and severe injuries from vehicle and motorcycle accidents. In 2023, the Consumer Attorneys of California named him Consumer Attorney of the Year for his work on Michaud, Namagembe, and Kataregga v. United States of America, a wrongful death case arising from an unsecured gate at Arches National Park that resulted in a $10.5 million federal court verdict, the largest wrongful death verdict by a federal judge in Utah.

Frank is licensed in California, Nevada, and Federal Courts, and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, the State Bar of California, and the State Bar of Nevada. He serves as a Placer County Pro Tem Judge and Judicial Arbitrator. He has been named to the National Trial Lawyers 'Top 100,' recognized by Super Lawyers as one of the 'Top 25 Attorneys in Sacramento,' and holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
