About Mark McCauley

Mark D. McCauley earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University and a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He spent the first 17 years of his legal career representing defendants on behalf of several national insurance companies before shifting to plaintiff-side work in 2021. Mark has served as lead trial attorney in 25 jury trials involving slip and fall incidents, motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, and pedestrian accidents.

One of his jury trial wins in a loss-of-use-of-a-classic-car case produced a published appellate decision that clarified the law in California. He has also successfully represented clients in numerous arbitrations and mediations. Mark is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of California and has handled matters across counties throughout Northern California.
