Patrick Thurman

Patrick Thurman is a Nashville native with nearly 20 years of experience in civil litigation. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Tulane University and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was a staff member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. After graduation he clerked for Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle of the Davidson County Chancery Court, then joined a civil litigation defense firm before transitioning to plaintiff work.

For more than a decade he has represented injured individuals and families in car, truck, and motorcycle accident cases, premises liability claims, catastrophic injury matters, and wrongful death litigation. He was named one of Tennessee's Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers, and is recognized in Best Lawyers in America (2026) and Mid-South Super Lawyers (2026). He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association, and coaches youth soccer.
