Cheyanne Cope

Cheyanne Cope is a relentless advocate for her clients who knew from an early age she wanted to be a plaintiffs lawyer. Her desire to represent injured clients stemmed from a near-tragedy in her childhood when a defective display hook at a department store pierced her face and nearly damaged her eye and brain. A good samaritan's intervention prevented more serious injury, which inspired her commitment to helping others hurt by dangerous products and others' negligence. At Kline & Specter, Cope handles products liability and medical malpractice cases.

She is currently heavily involved in several lawsuits against Panera for injuries caused by their Charged Lemonade energy drink. Those lawsuits have received widespread media coverage and led to Panera removing the drink from its menu. Cope brings relentless drive and deep empathy to her cases. She joined Kline & Specter while attending Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she received numerous academic awards, including best student performance in Torts, Patents, Criminal Law, and Litigation Drafting.

She was a member of the school's nationally recognized Trial Team, where she won Best Cross Examination in the Queens County DA Trial Team Competition. Before becoming an attorney, Cope served as a law clerk while in law school. She was also a Flint Water Crisis Volunteer, making several trips to Flint, Michigan to help deliver clean water to residents facing an unprecedented lead poisoning crisis.
