Edward Ortega

Edward J. Ortega is a Personal Injury Attorney at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, focusing on car accidents and other personal injury matters. He joined the firm in 2024.

A first-generation American born in Puerto Rico and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ortega earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University in 2021. He received his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2023, commuting three hours daily during law school while balancing family responsibilities. He served as Secretary of the Hispanic and Latin Law Student Association during law school.

Before joining Farrin, Ortega practiced family law. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
