J. Davis

J. Brett Davis is a Partner at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, working out of the firm's Durham, North Carolina office. He joined the firm in 2017 and brings approximately 26 years of legal experience. His practice covers personal injury, car accidents, medical malpractice, motorcycle accidents, nursing home negligence, and medical negligence.

Davis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ohio University's Honors Tutorial College in 1994 and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1997 (with a study-abroad term at Oxford University).

He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Ohio, and the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, and the Southern District of Ohio. He is a Certified Superior Court Mediator with the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and is involved with the NCAJ Advocate Educational Achievement Program (formerly serving on the NCAJ Membership and Political Action Committees).

Davis received the NCAJ Order of Service Award.
