About Rosa Boatwright

Rosa Antunez Boatwright is a Personal Injury Trial Lawyer at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. Her career progressed from paralegal roles to litigation - she previously served as a Paralegal at the firm before joining as an attorney.

As a child, Boatwright immigrated with her family from Honduras after Hurricane Mitch devastated their home. She worked her way through college, earning her Associate of Arts from Vance-Granville Community College, her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014, and her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham.

She is admitted to the North Carolina Bar.

Boatwright was named the 2025-2026 Chair of the Hispanic/Latino Legal Issues Division of North Carolina Advocates for Justice. She is an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the NC Bar Association, the NC Association of Women Attorneys, and the Durham County Bar Association. She also serves as a Board Member of the Diamante Arts and Cultural Center and as a former Board Member of International Focus.

She has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs in 2024 and 2025.
