Margo Carnahan

Margo K. Carnahan is a Partner at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. She has more than 11 years of legal experience, primarily as an insurance defense attorney before joining the plaintiff's bar.

Carnahan earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee in 2009.

She is admitted to the North Carolina Bar and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina.

During law school, she served on the UNC-Chapel Hill Moot Court Executive Board (as an undergraduate moot court alumna) and was a Semi-Finalist in the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law (2008).

Her honors include Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs and Workers' Compensation Law - Claimants (2024). She lives in Cary, North Carolina.
