Jeremy Pena

Jeremy Pena is a veteran trial attorney who brings 20 years of experience as a state and federal prosecutor to the civil arena. He prosecuted white-collar crimes, fraud, and public corruption for nearly 15 years at the U.S. Attorney's Office, most recently as Senior Litigation Counsel. He then joined McGinn Montoya Love Curry & Sievers to represent injured plaintiffs. A graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and Pomona College, Jeremy has conducted 45 jury trials.

His highest-profile cases include leading the investigation and prosecution of the principals of Ayudando Guardians, who stole millions from nearly 1,000 disabled clients; the conviction of Solomon Pena, who organized shootings against elected officials; and the conviction of Rio Arriba County Sheriff Thomas Rodella, which he successfully defended on appeal at the Tenth Circuit. He also spent five years as a state prosecutor focusing on child abuse cases. He approaches civil and criminal work alike with sensitivity and compassion.
