About Kathy Love

Kathy Love is driven to help people through the most vulnerable times of their lives, after the loss of a loved one or a catastrophic injury. She began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender and has been in private plaintiff practice since 2000, with more than 20 years representing injury victims and their families. In 2014, she and the firm earned a $67.3 million verdict against Biotronik for offering kickbacks to a doctor who implanted pacemakers in patients who did not need them.

Kathy has investigated cases by wearing a hard hat at a copper smelting plant, testing faulty heaters, and interviewing witnesses across New Mexico. She has served as president of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association (2015-2016) and sits on the American Association for Justice Board of Governors. She holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been named to Best Lawyers in America since 2013, and is included in the Lawdragon 500.
