About Scott M. Himelein
Scott Himelein is a native Delawarean who attended the University of Richmond and earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law. At Temple he participated in the American Inn of Court, was named a distinguished oral arguer and made the Dean's List. He interned for Judge Paul Wallace of the Delaware Superior Court and, after graduating, served as a full-time law clerk for Judge Sheldon Rennie of the same court, drafting bench memoranda and opinions on issues ranging from the First Amendment to asbestos liability. A Sussex County jury awarded $13 million in compensatory damages to her estate, her husband and her three sons in March 2005. The Delaware Supreme Court affirmed the judgment in 2006.
