About Andrew O'Brien

Andrew O'Brien is the founder of O'Brien Law Firm, P.C. and has practiced mesothelioma and asbestos law for more than 20 years. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he earned his law degree from University College Dublin in 1986 and later completed additional legal study at Saint Louis University School of Law before relocating to the United States to expand his practice on behalf of asbestos disease victims. Earlier in his career he worked with the firm Gaffney and Halligan in Dublin for four years.

In 2001, the Missouri Bar Foundation recognized O'Brien with the Lon O. Hocker Award for outstanding trial work, an honor given annually to young lawyers who have demonstrated unusual proficiency in trial advocacy. He has served on the Judicial Commission for the 22nd Judicial Circuit of St. Louis, testified before Missouri House and Senate committees on behalf of asbestos victims, and served on the board of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. O'Brien is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, and the Republic of Ireland.
