Victor Long

Victor Long is a board-certified civil trial lawyer and a founding partner at Regan Zambri Long. His practice focuses on product liability, car accidents, truck accidents, bus and pedestrian accidents, birth injuries, and civil rights cases. Notable results include a $4.5 million settlement for a woman who suffered a stroke due to poor medical care

• a $4.2 million verdict for U.S. Army soldiers injured in a bus accident
• a $4.2 million settlement for a child injured by defective playground equipment
• a $3.8 million settlement for a child injured in a fire caused by a defective home appliance (a case that led to a new product warning label)
• and a $1.8 million settlement for a child injured following birth

Victor has been board certified in Civil Trial and Civil Pretrial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1999. He has been named to Best Lawyers of America since 2014 for Medical Malpractice Law and Personal Injury Litigation and to the Washington, DC Metro Super Lawyers list since 2008. He was inducted into the Lawdragon Hall of Fame in 2024.

Before entering private practice, Victor was a trial attorney in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Office of the Solicitor in the U.S. Department of Labor. He serves as Chair of the Washington, DC Court of Appeals Client Security Trust Fund and chairs the Youth Justice Committee of the Council for Court Excellence. Victor is licensed in Washington, DC and Maryland.
