About Jacqueline Perez

As a proud Latina and first-generation college student, Jacqueline Perez's background shaped her pursuit of law and justice. She earned her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2019. Her legal career includes work as a law clerk for Judge Diamond in Ramsey County District Court, followed by roles in the Hennepin County Attorney's Office. In the Child Protection Division, she made more than two hundred court appearances, litigated contested child protection hearings, and tried cases to verdict. She later transitioned to Adult Prosecution, focusing on felony crimes involving child abuse and domestic violence, including serving as trial counsel in a homicide trial in February 2025.
