Gerald Parker

Gerald Parker III, M.D., J.D., is a doctor-lawyer at Ross Feller Casey who brings more than 40 years of combined medical and legal experience to complex medical malpractice cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His cases have spanned birth injuries, limb amputations, delays in diagnosing cancers, brain and spinal cord injuries, sudden cardiac deaths, overmédication, and complications from medical and surgical procedures. His work has contributed to major legal victories, including a $23.1 million verdict in Lehigh County for a woman who lost both legs due to failure to properly evaluate and treat a bloodstream infection, and a $6.4 million verdict for the children of a Philadelphia man who died from medical negligence. Parker graduated magna cum laude from Juniata College and earned his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College.

He trained at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood in Internal Medicine, and completed fellowship training in Medical Genetics at Harvard Medical School. He earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. As a physician, Parker focused on acute care, occupational health, and urgent care at several New Jersey hospitals and at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center. He is a member of both the American Medical Association and the American Bar Association, and is a member of the bar associations of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
