Blake Gibney

Blake Gibney was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2019, he worked for about four years in Chicago representing large corporations, first at Kirkland and Ellis and then at Levin and Perconti. He returned to Cedar Rapids in 2023 to join RSH Legal and represent individual injury victims. He says his values around accountability and fairness align much better with plaintiff's work than his prior corporate defense practice. He was a 2023 Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star and a recipient of the 2022 Wool-Yaeger-Cabraser AAJ Convention Scholarship.
