About Emily Anderson

Emily Anderson grew up in Cedar Rapids and has a history with RSH Legal going back to her junior year of high school, when she worked as a file room clerk. She attended trials, heard clients' stories, and eventually decided to become a plaintiff's lawyer after working for the firm all through college. She participated in competitive mock trial from middle school onward, with Tim Semelroth as one of her early coaches.

After graduating from Drake University Law School with high honors in 2007 and clerking for Iowa Supreme Court Justice David Wiggins, she joined RSH Legal as an associate in 2008 and became a partner in 2012. She is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and focuses on workers' compensation, car accidents, and wrongful death. She is an active mock trial coach and has served on the Iowa Association for Justice board.
