Brian Stansell

Brian J. Stansell is an experienced litigator who handles car accident and personal injury cases at Smith & Hassler. He is licensed to practice law in Texas. He joined the firm after eight years in insurance defense, handling property damage, personal injury, subrogation, and wrongful death claims, including high-exposure cases involving millions of dollars in dispute. He brings that insider perspective to his work on behalf of injury victims. A 2001 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Dean's List student with a double major in English and history, he earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2007, where he was on the Dean's List and a member of the South Texas Law Review.
