David Warta

David Warta was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 2004 and focuses on the following areas of law: Employment Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Insurance Dispute Litigation, and ERISA Litigation. David has been named to the Oklahoma Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists every year since 2013, is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Tulsa County Bar Association, and is the author of Personal Foul: Unnecessary Restriction of Endorsement and Employment Opportunities for NCAA Student-Athletes, 39 Tulsa L. Rev. 419 (2004).

David Warta graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in English Literature in 1992 and received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Tulsa in 2004.

David Warta was raised in Wichita, Kansas. He played baseball at the University of Kansas, which he describes as a brief but memorable experience. He married his college sweetheart, Greta, and eventually returned to her hometown, Tulsa.
