Matthew Wright

Matthew E. Wright is the managing partner of The Law Firm for Truck Safety LLP's Tennessee office and has been elected chair of the American Association for Justice's Trucking Litigation Group for 2025 to 2026. He is board-certified in truck accident law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and serves on the Board of Regents of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. A third-generation Tennessee lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, Wright has built a track record of multi-million-dollar recoveries against major trucking and transportation companies. He is a national speaker on trucking law and represents clients in catastrophic injury cases involving amputation, burns, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries, as well as wrongful death. He earned his B.A. and J.D. from Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Law School, respectively.
