Andy Young is a managing partner of The Law Firm for Truck Safety LLP's Cleveland office, representing pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, and motorists in catastrophic and fatal truck crashes. He is board-certified in truck accident law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is the founding chair of the Ohio Association for Justice's Truck Safety Section. Young served on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee and testified before Congress on trucking safety. He holds a Class A Commercial Driver's License and owns a Peterbilt semi-tractor and 45-foot car hauler trailer.
As lead trial counsel, he secured Ohio's second-largest truck crash verdict at the time: $42.4 million for two brain-injured teenagers in an underride collision case. Young is an elected officer of both the American Association for Justice's Trucking Litigation Group and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, a past president of the Lorain County Bar Association, and AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He earned his B.A. magna cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1996 and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University Law School in 1999.

A Cuyahoga County jury awarded a combined $42.4 million in October 2014 to Joshua Rojas ($34.6 million) and Kiara Torres ($7.8 million), two teenage passengers who suffered brain injuries when the car they were riding in collided with a Concrete Designs Inc. dump truck; Andy Young, now of The Law Firm for Truck Safety, served as trial counsel, and in 2019 Ohio's Eighth District affirmed the verdicts while vacating a later prejudgment interest award.
