Jonathan Pierre

Jonathan V. Pierre is a litigation attorney at The Russo Firm, a Florida-based personal injury firm. His practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and civil rights matters.

Pierre earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis from Florida A&M University. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law with a concentration in Health Law.

He began his legal career as a civil rights attorney representing children who had been abused, neglected, catastrophically injured, and sexually victimized while in the foster care system. Before joining The Russo Firm, he served as an Attorney at Wicker Smith, where he focused on medical malpractice litigation and civil litigation defense, primarily handling professional liability claims within the healthcare industry, representing hospital systems, doctors, dentists, nurses, and other medical professionals.

Pierre was named to the Top 40 Under 40 Black Lawyers in Florida by The National Black Lawyers in 2023.
