About Kathleen Banks

Kathleen "Katie" Banks is a personal injury attorney at Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP in Houston. Born and raised in Houston's Klein area, she attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate degree before returning to Houston to attend the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as Articles Editor for the Houston Law Review.

After graduating from law school, Banks spent approximately ten years working for the defense bar, gaining deep insight into how insurance companies and defendants approach litigation. She then transitioned to plaintiff representation, bringing that defense-side experience to bear on behalf of injured clients. Her practice encompasses wrongful death, motor vehicle and 18-wheeler accidents, premises liability, products liability, and work injury cases.

Banks is admitted to practice in Texas and before multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and all four U.S. District Courts in Texas (Southern, Northern, Western, and Eastern Districts).
