B. Robert Allard

B. Robert Allard focuses exclusively on representing victims of childhood sexual abuse and institutional sexual misconduct. He is widely recognized as one of the country's leading advocates in institutional sexual abuse, covering abuse within schools, youth sports leagues, daycare centers, camps, churches, and group homes. Allard has been named California Lawyer Magazine's Attorney of the Year in Public Justice and Santa Clara County Trial Lawyer of the Year four times. His litigation against USA Swimming in 2010 contributed to significant child protection reforms across the Olympic Movement, including expanded background checks and mandatory reporter training.

He has worked with California legislators to abolish arbitrary statutes of limitations for childhood sexual abuse victims, prohibit confidentiality agreements that silence survivors, and require school districts to train employees on recognizing sexual predators.
