About Matt Granda

Matt Granda is the Managing Partner of Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers. A Marine Corps veteran with four years of service including Operation Iraqi Freedom, he advanced through the firm's ranks from law clerk to partner in 2017 and to managing partner shortly thereafter.

Granda earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the College of Southern Nevada and the University of Phoenix. He is admitted to the State Bar of Nevada and the Oregon State Bar.

Under Granda's leadership the firm doubled in size from 2020-2021, expanded to Reno and New York, and grew to 90 employees with 35 attorneys. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 AVVO rating, and has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers Nevada and Mountain States Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2017-2021). He is an adjunct professor at the Boyd School of Law teaching law practice management.
