About Irwin Levin
Irwin Levin is the Managing Partner of CohenMalad LLP and has practiced with the firm since 1978. His practice is concentrated in class actions, mass torts, and commercial litigation. Irwin was lead counsel in two class action cases against the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles for overcharging millions of Indiana citizens, resulting in a $30 million settlement and a subsequent $59 million settlement after trial. He was also Co-Lead Counsel in major antitrust cases against the concrete industry resulting in $59 million in settlements in central Indiana and $18 million in Iowa. Irwin was among the first counsel in the 1996 class action against Swiss Banks on behalf of Holocaust survivors, and later participated in numerous Holocaust-related cases against German banks and corporations. He has been named a Top 50 Super Lawyer in Indiana for 21 consecutive years, including Top 10 in 12 of the past 17 years.
