About Chad Kasdin

Chad Kasdin joined Corboy & Demetrio in 2024 as a partner, transitioning from a large national defense firm. He brings nearly 24 years of litigation experience spanning professional liability, medical malpractice defense, business and commercial litigation, and premises liability.

His recent recognitions include selection to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America (2025-2026) and Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers (2025). He earned Illinois Leading Lawyers designation in 2024, 2025, and 2026 across three practice areas: plaintiff's personal injury, professional malpractice, and product liability, an achievement fewer than 5% of state attorneys attain. In 2026, he received Illinois Super Lawyers recognition in personal injury law for plaintiffs and induction into The Society of Trial Lawyers.

Prior honors include a Trial Excellence Award from the Jury Verdict Reporter (2013) for an Outstanding Defense Verdict in a Premises Liability Case and recognition as one of Illinois' Top 40 under Forty (2014). He was repeatedly selected to Illinois Super Lawyers' Rising Stars.

Kasdin frequently lectures at legal and business conferences. In 2021, he presented on the U.S. opioid crisis to European insurers. He has served as an invited speaker at the U.S. National Sports Safety and Security Conference and taught continuing legal education on deposition strategies, courtroom technology evidence presentation, and litigation communications. He played varsity basketball all four years at Skidmore College, serving as captain (1996-1997), and earned NCAA Academic All-America and Academic All-Conference honors.
