Donna M. Di Donato

Donna M. Di Donato has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate the challenges that come with personal injury cases. Donna has been practicing law at Decof, Mega & Quinn, P.C. since 1990, with a focus on personal injury law, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. Her practice involves representing clients in serious personal injury and death claims, which frequently stem from drunk driving incidents and involve dram shop/liquor liability issues. Prior to joining the firm, Donna held various legal positions, including serving as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Rhode Island, as well as justice of the peace/bail commissioner for the district and family courts of the State of Rhode Island from 1985 to 1989, and as assistant solicitor for the Town of Charlestown from 1986 to 1987.

In addition to her legal work, Donna has lectured at Providence College and Roger Williams University, and frequently participates in mock trials as an instructor and judge with the Rhode Island Mock Trial Tournament. Raised in Providence and North Providence, Rhode Island, Donna is the youngest of three daughters born to parents who owned and operated a small construction company. Donna's maternal grandfather, who believed that the practice of law was an admirable profession, instilled in her the importance of education from an early age. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont, Donna went on to earn her law degree from Suffolk University.

Her passion for helping individuals in need led her to focus her legal practice on personal injury cases, where she is known for her compassion and dedication to her clients. Donna believes that being a part of her clients' lives during their time of need is an ongoing defining moment. She understands the challenges they face when they or a loved one are injured or killed in an accident and the toll it takes on their lives. Donna works tirelessly to ensure that her clients receive the compensation they deserve, taking into account not only their physical injuries but also their emotional and financial losses.

In addition to her legal work, Donna enjoys spending time with her son, who served as a medic in the military and is now attending college. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys walking, hiking, and woodworking with her son. Her commitment to her clients and her community is a testament to her dedication and passion for helping others.
