John Marcus

John Marcus is a Premises Liability Attorney at Farah & Farah's Jacksonville, Florida office, where he handles slip-and-fall and other premises liability matters as well as broader personal injury work. He has tried more than 60 cases over a long career.

Marcus built his reputation through years in the Florida Public Defender's Office, where he progressed from certified legal intern up to Chief Assistant Public Defender — a role in which he was responsible for teaching trial skills to other attorneys throughout the office. He brings that depth of trial experience to plaintiffs' personal injury work.

Marcus earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice cum laude from the University of West Florida and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. He is admitted to The Florida Bar and is a member of the Florida Justice Association.
