Carol Nelson Shepherd

Carol Nelson Shepherd is a founding partner of Feldman Shepherd who has devoted her legal career to helping those catastrophically injured by medical malpractice. For 40 years, she has vigorously advocated for clients in claims against healthcare providers arising from obstetric and childbirth injuries, delayed cancer diagnoses, improperly performed surgeries, and other types of substandard medical care. Carol has won many multimillion-dollar recoveries in medical malpractice cases.

Each year since 2004, she has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in Pennsylvania, a Top 100 Super Lawyer in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, and a Pennsylvania Medical Malpractice Super Lawyer. In 2015, Best Lawyers in America designated her Lawyer of the Year in Medical Malpractice Law. Carol earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and her B.A. from Arizona State University.
