George Stiefel III

George Stiefel III clerked at New York's highest court, the Court of Appeals, for two years, then at the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, before joining the New York State Executive Chamber, where he was appointed Freedom of Information Law Counsel in the Governor's office. Those judicial and government roles equipped him with deep insight into how courts evaluate legal arguments, skills he applies to wildfire litigation, mass torts, class actions, wrongful death, personal injury, and complex business litigation. A summa cum laude graduate of SUNY Buffalo School of Law, he earned the Buffalo Law Review Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. He is admitted in California, Montana, and New York.
