About Rachel Coronel

Rachel was born in Los Angeles, CA, but raised in DeRidder, LA. She attended Louisiana Tech University on a soccer scholarship and earned a degree in Chemistry in 2015. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she attended Southern University Law Center where Rachel graduated with honors in 2018. In addition, Rachel earned the CALI Award for the highest grade in both Federal Jurisdiction and Successions.

Before joining Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, Rachel worked as in-house counsel for a workers’ compensation insurance company. In her spare time, she loves to read, paint, draw, travel, and spend time with her family. Rachel’s family is from Colombia and Nicaragua, and she is fluent in
