About Jose Rios

Jose L. Rios is a San Antonio native who spent two years doing manual labor installing home security systems before returning to school at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he majored in history. His interest in the law developed through studying ancient Greek and Roman civilizations and their influence on the American legal system. He went on to the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, graduating magna cum laude in the top 10 percent of his class on a merit-based scholarship.

During law school he clerked for federal judges Nancy F. Atlas and Kenneth M. Hoyt and spent summers working at the Gamez Law Firm. He focuses on getting injured clients fully compensated and has a track record of multiple seven-figure results, including a $2.8 million settlement and three separate $1 million settlements in the fall of 2022 alone. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2021).
