Jan Cohen

Jan P. Cohen brings more than 37 years of litigation experience to Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C., where he serves as Director of Litigation. His primary focus covers personal injury, wrongful death, professional negligence, products liability, and premises liability. Before joining the firm, Jan was managing partner at Weinstock & Scavo, P.C. and at Chambers, Mabry, McClelland & Brooks, where he represented insurers and their insureds in liability defense.

His background on both sides of the aisle gives him practical insight into how opposing counsel approaches a case. Jan is admitted before the State Bar of Georgia, both Georgia federal district courts, and the Eleventh Circuit. He and his wife Heidi, both Atlanta natives, live in Sandy Springs.
