Lloyd Bell

Lloyd N. Bell founded Bell Law Firm in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999 after serving as a U.S. Army JAG Corps attorney. He has more than 30 years of trial experience and has participated in more than 80 jury trials in federal and state courts, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for plaintiffs in medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. Bell is board certified as a medical malpractice specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, the only ABA-accredited body offering such certification. He is the only Georgia attorney admitted to the Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only organization limited to 100 plaintiff trial lawyers in the United States.

Bell serves as president of the Georgia chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and holds membership in the International Society of Barristers, the AAJ Leaders Forum, and the Melvin M. Belli Society. He has been listed on the Atlanta Super Lawyers list since 2005 and was named to the Super Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers in Georgia in 2018. In 2022, Bell and co-counsel secured a $75 million verdict in Buckelew v. Womack, the largest medical malpractice verdict in Georgia history, which the Georgia Court of Appeals affirmed in March 2025.
