Brook Ptacek West

Brook Ptacek West joined Bell Law Firm as a trial attorney in March 2025, focusing on medical malpractice and catastrophic injury litigation. She is a Georgia native who earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law with Pro Bono and Public Service Distinction. Before joining Bell Law Firm, West worked at Beasley Allen, where she helped recover over $26 million for clients in medical malpractice, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury matters.

She previously practiced at Finch McCranie, LLP. West clerked for the Honorable Judge Doris Downs of Fulton County Superior Court and interned with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. She also contributed to the Department of Justice's monitorship of Volkswagen following the emissions litigation. West is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association's LEAD program and was selected as a 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star.
