About Mike Rafi

Mike Rafi is a personal injury attorney, legal commentator, and the founder of Rafi Law Firm, based in Atlanta, Georgia. His legal commentary videos have been watched more than a billion times, making him one of the most recognized lawyers in the country. He takes depositions, writes briefs, tries cases, and represents people and families in serious injury and wrongful death cases across the country. Since founding the firm in 2015, Mike and his team have recovered more than $200 million for clients, not by taking every case available, but by doing serious work on every case taken.

Mike graduated with honors from Furman University, where he served as captain of the Mock Trial Team and worked for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. He later worked for Fox News Channel in New York City and Cox Broadcasting's Washington, D.C. bureau. He earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was named Outstanding Mock Trial Advocate of his graduating class, the most decorated advocate in the school's history. He was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers and the Lumpkin Inn of Court, and won the Ralph J. Beaird Closing Argument Competition and the Talmadge Moot Court Competition.

Before founding Rafi Law Firm, Mike began his legal career at an international defense firm with over 600 attorneys, where he defended large companies in personal injury and commercial litigation. That experience on both sides of litigation shaped how he approaches every case. He has served as President of the DeKalb County Bar Association, on the board of the Atlanta Bar Association's Small Firm Section, and has testified before the Georgia House of Representatives on tort reform. He received the Distinguished Leader Award from Law.com and has been recognized by Super Lawyers, Atlanta Magazine, and Georgia Trend's Legal Elite.
