About Kevin Haynes

Kevin Haynes is a partner and 20-year trial lawyer at Kherkher Garcia who represents clients in trucking and bus crashes, onshore and offshore oil rig accidents, and plant, refinery, and pipeline explosions. He grew up in the industrial Golden Triangle of Southeast Texas and clerked for Justice Leslie Brock Yates on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals before beginning his plaintiff career. In December 2011, Kevin won an $18.5 million verdict in a bus crash case in Dallas County (Reedy v. Greyhound Lines).

In August 2022, he and Jesus Garcia won a $110 million verdict in an ATV rollover in Starr County. In 2024, Kevin recovered $238.5 million across multiple settlements for clients, including $100 million for burn victims of a pipeline explosion and $28.5 million in an oilfield amputation case. In 2025, he achieved the largest products liability settlement in Texas, securing $54.5 million for a severely injured client.
