About Mark Guerra

Mark Guerra is an associate at Kherkher Garcia who grew up along the U.S.-Mexico border in Brownsville, Texas. A third-generation lawyer, he earned his B.B.A. in International Business from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he received a CALI Award for making the highest grade in Civil Pretrial Advocacy and earned a Top 10 Appellate Brief Award at the Leroy Jeffers Moot Court Tournament. He is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Mark is a board member of the Alzheimer's Association (Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter) and has served as an ambassador for the 29th Congressional District, meeting with members of Congress to advocate for Alzheimer's research funding. He has also served as a board member for Temenos Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit providing affordable housing to Houston's homeless population.
