Frank Mangiaracina

Frank Mangiaracina is a partner at Kline & Specter and a proven trial lawyer who has resolved nearly 100 cases for at least $1 million. As lead or co-counsel, he has achieved significant settlements and verdicts including $44 million for a quadriplegic oil rig worker struck by a falling light fixture, $15 million after jury selection in a medical malpractice case involving severe brain injuries, and $8 million for failure to diagnose and treat severe infection. Additional major resolutions include $5.5 million settlements during jury selection in malpractice cases involving severe injuries and wrongful death.

$5 million for delayed sepsis treatment resulting in death, $4.5 million total resolution combining settlement and trial verdict in a wrongful death case, $4 million for injuries from a fallen tree on a highway, $3.5 million for failure to properly treat aortic aneurysm, $3 million on trial eve in a malpractice wrongful death case, and $2.1 million verdict against Domino's Pizza for severe leg injuries to a motorcyclist struck by a delivery driver. Under Shanin Specter's direction, Mangiaracina led representation of dozens exposed to ethylene oxide, a complex toxic tort litigation spanning years with multiple firm attorneys resulting in a confidential settlement.

His trial work produced significant changes to Pennsylvania law. During summer 2021, he won a $2.1 million verdict against Domino's Pizza for a client with severe permanent leg injuries from a motorcycle struck by a franchisee delivery driver. After Domino's appeal claiming franchisor immunity, the Pennsylvania Superior Court issued a precedential January 2025 opinion clarifying when franchisors may be held liable for franchisee actions under Pennsylvania law. Mangiaracina has been named a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers for eight consecutive years (2019-2026), recognizing the top 2.5 percent of attorneys age 40 or younger.

He was also selected to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40. At Temple Law School, he graduated magna cum laude in the top five percent and was an Order of the Coif member. He served as staff editor for the Temple Law Review and was a member of Temple's National Trial Team, which placed in the semifinals of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's 'Tournament of Champions.' He won the Integrated Trial Advocacy Graduation Award, Benjamin and Natalie Levin Memorial Scholarship, Class of 1978 Scholarship, and Faculty Law Scholarship.
