R. Scott Westlund

R. Scott Westlund is a managing partner at KRW Lawyers and an accredited personal injury attorney licensed in Texas. He spent more than ten years defending corporations and insurance companies before moving to represent personal injury victims. Scott handles 18-wheeler and commercial truck accidents, oilfield injury, premises liability, wrongful death, and bad faith insurance matters. He is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Scott has been selected by peers as a Texas Super Lawyer, a designation reserved for the top 5% of practicing attorneys in Texas.

Within one year of co-founding KRW Lawyers, he earned lifetime member status in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2007. Since 2008, he has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell every year. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award and was named an outstanding Phi Alpha Delta member. He completed his undergraduate studies at Howard Payne University, where he competed on the baseball team for all four years.
