William Massengale

William F. Massengale is a Personal Injury Attorney at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, with more than a decade of legal experience. He joined the firm in 2025 and brings a background in both criminal prosecution and civil plaintiff litigation.

Massengale earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University in 2010 and his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2014.

He is admitted to the North Carolina Bar.

Notable accomplishments include trying hundreds of bench trials and dozens of jury trials, prosecuting five first-degree murder trials (all resulting in convictions), recovering a $6.2 million settlement in a disputed-liability products case, and trying hundreds of DWI cases across Superior and District courts.
